SFL selects Nathaniel Cole as first Executive Director
Released January 5, 2026
The Saskatchewan Federation of Labour (SFL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Nathaniel Cole as the Federation's first Executive Director, effective January 1, 2026.
Nathaniel came to the SFL in 2023 as the Strategic Advisor, along with a decade of experience in politics, communications, and governance. As Executive Director, he will manage staff, oversee the day-to-day operations of the Federation, and work closely with affiliated unions to advance the interests of working people across Saskatchewan.
"This new position is critical to the Federation's success into the future,” said Lori Johb, President of the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour. “We are confident that Nathaniel’s leadership, commitment, and cooperative spirit will strengthen our solidarity for the many fights ahead.”
“It's an honour to be offered this opportunity,” said Cole. “The SFL has a proud history of standing up for workers, and I look forward to working with the whole SFL team to build a stronger, fairer Saskatchewan.”
